Anatomy Academy

Anatomy Academy is a service organization at the David Geffen School of Medicine. In short, a group of 5-6 volunteers go to Westwood Transitional Housing to provide lessons about the different organ systems of the body to the children of the families using the temporary housing this site has to offer. The goal of the organization is to provide an educational experience and early exposure to science to families in transition housing. The main target demographic are kids under the age of 10. It is a combination of community service, education, and just having fun giving early science exposure to underserved kids.
