Global Medical Brigades

The UCLA Chapter of Global Brigades is a student-led group that supports Global Brigades in the implementation of a holistic model to meet the health and economic goals of rural communities in other countries around the world. Along with other Global Brigades Chapters on campus as well as Chapters at other universities, our Chapter participates in year round recruitment, fundraising, and awareness events that ultimately result in our participation in a 7-9 day brigade. On this trip, we volunteer at clinics to make healthcare more accessible to people in rural and impoverished areas. We also work to spread awareness to those in surrounding areas in hopes to make a global impact.
